Before joining the KYMCO team, Kevin Johnston raced on virtually every other major manufacturer’s products. One of the most respected riders in GNCC, he was 2005 National Champion in the Utility Unlimited class.

On riding a KYMCO:
“Last season we got the hole shot against the Can-Ams every race. And these 500 motors, you just can’t kill one. I’ve seen an MXU crash early in the race, lose all its coolant, and still run fifty-plus miles and finish in the top ten. Any other brand wouldn’t have made it a single lap.”

2007 Highlights:
Last year Kevin rode his KYMCO MXU 500 4x4 to 5th Place in the GNCC Amateur 4x4 Lites class, with Top-10 finishes in 8 of 13 races. This year he will campaign in a new MXU 375 4x4.
